Default chit chat? animal welfare?

ive a suggestion for more forums

1) chit chat - just for slightly off subject stuff?
2) animal welfare section?
3) news section for updates of 'local news' from pet clinics, animal welfare organizations etc?? maybe that would be popular?

anyway I like the forum as it is, it looks good even though its only been around a few months

1) I'd like some place I'd feel more comfortable posting about the random silly nonsense I have going on at our animal hospital. Not neccessarily medically related. Also I think an off topic forum would help in building a community. We will likely become friends, we don't always have to talk about animals.

2) is this like discussing the appropriate ways of rescuing animals? A lot of times I do see people bringing in animals that they really should not have picked up. I had a roommate who essentially stole an old dog from an old lady because she felt the older lady was not taking proper care of the animal. I was like "uh, there are legal routes of removing an animal from a persons home for a reason." The old lady ended up sending the cops to our house. It was a rediculously stupid mess. Some people really need to be educated regarding protocal in these types of situations.
